How Clients Obtain Software & Forteau Partner Setup

1) Client buys direct: The client signs up with the software vendor, retains the software contract, and grants Forteau admin access or an authorised user account. This is simplest for client control and data ownership.

 

2) Forteau manages under client agreement: The client signs a written agreement and a DPA that allows Forteau to create and manage the workspace on the client’s behalf. Forteau invoices for implementation and an optional software admin fee.

 

3) Reseller / partner arrangement: For larger clients, Forteau may negotiate a reseller or partner account (subject to vendor approval). This is appropriate when Forteau provides a long‑term managed service across multiple clients.

 

Purchase steps (practical):

• Identify pack and vendor

• Trial the software (most vendors offer 14–30 day free trials)

• Sign contract or subscription

• Forteau performs onboarding, configuration, and staff training

• Execute DPA and data processing terms

• Start live operations and monthly reporting
